Making A Difference Through Heroes First

Home Clean Heroes is thrilled to have launched Heroes First at the beginning of this year. Heroes First is a mission-based initiative that goes beyond just an aspect of our brand, but will be a core dimension of Home Clean Heroes in the years to come.

What is Heroes First?

Heroes First is dedicated to giving back to local market first responders and their families. While our core mission is to defend our customers’ free time, we also believe it’s imperative to recognize the real heroes out there keeping us safe, first responders. First responders are the first ones there providing assistance at the scene of an accident or emergency, and include firefighters, police, EMTs, and other emergency professionals.

Home Clean Heroes is giving back through a partnership with the First Responders Children’s Foundation, or FRCF, which is a national non-profit with a 20-year legacy in helping first responders and their families in times of need. This organization started as a result of 9/11, when so many first responders gave their lives helping save others. Since first responders are most often volunteers without benefits, their families are often left without the means to continue fully providing for the remaining family. The FRCF was created with those children and families in mind, and now provides support to families through several different efforts, including grants, scholarships, mental health programs, and bereavement funding.

Heroes First is first and foremost a mission that we fully believe in and support. But it goes beyond that. Supporting the families of First Responders is something that no other residential cleaning company does, setting Home Clean Heroes apart from other cleaning company concepts with a truly unique differentiator.

“Home Clean Heroes has always been dedicated to supporting others in the community” said Home Clean Heroes President Joe Delatte. “This new partnership will allow us to establish a new differentiating component of the core mission for our brand and our Home Clean Heroes family, in which we put the true Heroes First.”

Since Heroes First is a system-wide initiative, each franchisee that becomes part of the Home Clean Heroes family will partner with the national nonprofit to help make a difference in their local communities.

How Heroes First Works

There are several ways that Heroes First will be integrated into the brand for customers to donate.

• A portion of every cleaning fee will support each local Home Clean Heroes location’s First Responders.
• Customers will have the opportunity to “round-up” or add a nominal donation to their cleaning price which will go directly to the initiative. These round ups may be added, or paused, at any time.
• Additional donations may be made at any time of the year through a dedicated fundraising site, which will be promoted at both a corporate and local level.
