Home Clean Heroes 2022 Convention Recap

This has been a record year for Home Clean Heroes, as we just wrapped up our first ever in-person convention in Cancun, Mexico! Convention is a time for our Home Clean Heroes franchisees to come together as a system and reflect on the previous year while gearing up for success in the coming year. This was the first time our franchise owners have been together as a group, which is an extremely valuable opportunity both from a learning perspective and for the culture of the brand.

Together We Shine

The Convention theme was “Together We Shine” which focused on how as a system, Home Clean Heroes is stronger. It’s also a nod to as mentioned above, the first time all being together in person, which was a huge win! The theme was woven throughout the agenda and sessions, which included an interactive role-playing session where franchise owners highlighted what to do in different situations with customers. Learning from other franchise owners, especially for those newer franchisees who only recently entered the franchise system, was invaluable.

Memorable Moments

Keynote speaker, Ross Shafer, delivered an impactful and jam-packed energetic message through his own personal experiences on how to deliver a Wow message to customers instead of a Pow moment that will leave them disappointed.

Our partner, First Responders Children’s Foundation, joined us at Convention to share more about their organization and what it means to give back to the families of first responders. By engraining this into the fabric of Home Clean Heroes through Heroes First, we deliver not only clean homes to people, but the assurance to our customers that a portion of every cleaning they pay for is going to something greater.

Other themes included how to help employees feel valued, managing profitability, how to tell your story, and maximizing digital resources. There was a great mix of tangible, actionable data and motivational content to propel our franchisees into the upcoming year with a renewed sense of energy and drive to bring to their business.

While the days were chock-full of sessions with helpful information from both the presenters and fellow franchise owners, the evenings were focused on celebrating the successes from the past year. The first night was a Welcome Reception dedicated to franchisees just getting to know each other and getting to know franchise owners from fellow brands Pool Scouts and British Swim School. The second night was an awards dinner hosted at Harry’s, a beautiful waterfront restaurant. Several of our franchisees received awards to recognize the hard work and major accomplishments they achieved in 2022. The final night of Convention was a poolside party, where everyone can truly celebrate a job well done with delicious food and drink, followed by dancing under the stars. We couldn’t be more proud of our franchisees and all that they’ve overcome throughout the past few years, and were thoroughly impressed in how they showed up at Convention ready to learn and share. We can’t wait to see everyone back in sunny Cancun in 2023!
