Hero Spotlight: Jen Olson Joins the Franchise Development Team

Home Clean Heroes has been on a roll in franchise development over the past year, already gaining four new franchisees not even halfway through 2021. With more on the horizon and countless Meet the Team days for potential franchise candidates, we’re not slowing down any time soon. At the end of last year, the brand set some pretty aggressive (but achievable) goals for the growth we planned on seeing this year. The entire Home Clean Heroes team has been working hard to meet these goals, and are seeing the fruits of our labor. With the growing interest in the Home Clean Heroes brand, it was time to expand our franchise development team to keep up with the demand.

Join us in welcoming Jen Olson as our newest member of the Home Clean Heroes franchise development team! Jen became a member of the fran dev family in April as our Vice President of Franchise Development, and brings a wealth of strengths to our development efforts.

Jen’s Background in Franchise Development

Jen is a Michigan State University grad with almost 20 years in franchise development, working with brands of all sizes, such as Regis Brands (Supercuts, Pro Cuts, Roosters) and most recently NOW Massage. She is no stranger to the home services industry, as she started out in her 20-year development career with service brands Mr. Handyman and 1-800-DryClean, among others. Jen also has deep experience and a strong reputation within the consultant community, which she’s looking forward to utilizing in her new role.

Jen’s Superpowered Franchise Skills

Jen says her Hero superpower is ESP because she has an uncanny ability to get a good read on people and anticipate their questions or thoughts. This superpower comes in handy not only in her professional career in evaluating candidates for franchise ownership, but also when playing poker, one of her favorite pastimes.

Jen’s favorite room in the house is her patio because she loves being outdoors and enjoying the fresh air. When not finding new Heroes to join our franchise family, Jen leads a very active life with her husband and two sons, where they spend many weekends at the motocross racetracks watching her youngest compete, while her oldest son is a budding entrepreneur in his own right – having started a photography and videography business at the racetracks. Jen is the “family cheerleader and glue that keeps it all together.”

What’s On the Franchise Development Horizon

While Jen is still new to the team, she has already proven to be a strong and diligent team member. Her ability to connect with people and share the Home Clean Heroes brand voice and mission have proven successful. Her background in the franchise space gives her a unique advantage of being able to understand questions and potential hesitations from potential candidates, and knowledge to address those apprehensions. We look forward to seeing Jen grow and develop alongside Home Clean Heroes!
