Franchisee Spotlight: Kristin Humphrey

In honor of Women’s History Month and to celebrate International Women’s Day, we want to highlight one of our incredible franchise owners dedicating every day to bringing clean homes to families in their communities! Kristin Humphrey, owner of Home Clean Heroes of West Houston, has demonstrated not only what it means to run a business, but to excel in business ownership.
Kristin’s Background
Kristin joined the Home Clean Heroes family at the beginning of 2022, and was a natural from the moment she signed. Coming from a background as a franchise business coach for an automotive franchise, Kristin knew first-hand what it takes to run a successful business and how to navigate challenges. She lives out all of the core values that the brand stands for, empowering her employees to succeed and fully committing to making her customers’ lives better by providing clean homes. She can talk to anyone and has the energy and drive that are needed in order to build momentum in a business.
Kristin Awarded Franchisee of the Year
Kristin has done such an amazing job in her first year with Home Clean Heroes, that she was selected as the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Franchisee of the Year! She was honored at the 63rd IFA Annual Convention in Las Vegas for being an outstanding franchise establishment owner-operator.
“Kristin has made a major impact on our brand in the short period of time she has been part of the system,” said Joe Delatte, Home Clean Heroes president. “She runs her business with passion and enthusiasm every day, while often spearheading the sharing of best practices among other owners in efforts to foster a sense of community. We are thrilled to see the IFA honor her in this way.”
The IFA Franchisee of the Year award recognizes leading franchise owners whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance, and promote the franchise business model. These individuals serve their communities, foster a strong and vibrant workforce, open doors for career growth and entrepreneurship, and support their fellow franchisees. Kristin fully lives out each of these components on a daily basis, which made her a clear choice to stand out for the honor.
At the annual franchisee convention held in November, Kristin was also awarded the Super Customer Satisfaction Award for having the highest Net Promoter Score in the entire system for 2022. She also received a Lightning Fast Start Award which is giving to franchisees that exceed $70,000 in revenue in their first six months of business.
More Than Just a Business Owner
While Kristin is an outstanding business owner, she goes beyond that and fully embodies what the Home Clean Heroes brand stands for. She loves having the opportunity to give back through her business. Kristin stands out among her peers for her dedication to the brand’s Heroes First initiative, where a portion of every cleans goes to supporting local first responders and their families through our partnership with First Responders Children’s Foundation. After just a few months in business Kristin and her team provided a complimentary house cleaning service to Eden Rule, a young mother of four whose police officer husband was killed in the line of duty.
Kristin also participates in the annual Heroes Fighting Hunger initiative, where food items collected from customers’ homes are then donated to families in need after the holidays, when food banks are typically depleted. This year, Kristin’s efforts benefitted Houston’s First Baptist Church food bank with 280 food items collected and donated.
Aside from her involvement in her community, Kristin is viewed as a leader among her fellow franchise owners and often speaks with numerous franchise candidates about her experiences to date.
